Upcoming November 4 Patch
While I clearly not support the EA buyout, I will keep my mods as I believe it is crucial that each player can decide for themselves whether and how they still play the game - and maybe just don't buy new packs for it (which is what I personally indend to do). If I removed my mods, I might force or at least influence people to entirely quit the game who would not have chosen to do so for themselves and I'm not okay with that.

Today, I threw together a list of bug fixes I have available for the lastest EA "150+ Community Chosen Fixes - Coming Nov 4" list. Do with that what you will. Maybe you are afraid to patch in fear of breaking your game, maybe not all of the fixes work, maybe you just want to know what might become obsolete or you just aren't ready to go online again. Anyhow I send you all the very best wishes in these tough times. And if you are leaving thte Sims 4 behind for good (which is totally understandable as well) I'd like to seize this opportunity to thank you for using my mods while you were still playing.

The mods will probably not need updates as the fixes EA intends to fix have already been implemented (some even for years). On to the list now:

Sabotage interaction is no longer available on objects without completing Deviance aspiration.

When the Mixologist is in conversation with NPCs, they'll break out of it if a drink order is queued up and be more responsive.

Sims won't use their phone when in the water or jogging.

Excessive 'Wants' are no longer generated from music when there are other categories of preferences.

"Dance to stereo music" wants are now fulfilled when Sims dance using earbuds.

Sim will no longer autonomously perform 'Grab a Drink' interaction with 'Tea Magic Personal Brewer'.

Hello there,

I just wanted to let you know that I did not buy the new Expansion Pack as I do not play with occults.

Still, I did update my mods - as far as possible except for enhancements that would have required access to the tuning of the new pack. My new mods since end of April are not online here yet as I still have to update all my CAS downloads for fairies and that is currently a priority. For the time being, you can only find them on Curseforge.

Hey folks,

I keep getting mostly nice and sometimes not so nice messages why I don't update my mods here and on Curseforge at the same time.

The reason is that I'm simply not able to due to personal challenges. I will not bother you with the details, but life has been rough for me since last spring and still is.
I'm still busy with uploading all my mods to Curseforge which is very time consuming. I can handle updating 3 files a day, but that's pretty much it.

Rest assured that I still update mods at this site in a timely manner, I just can't do it daily. Normally, I will post my updates here once or twice a month, if my real life allows for it. Moreover, I do of course update mods asap here as well as on Curseforge when they cause serious issues due to a patch (which luckily rarely ever happens as I don't have any script mods).

I hope to be able to update stuff on both sites on the same day as I know that is easier for you lot. That will however not be before everything is online on both sites.

In the meantime, I had to cut some ends so new mods will - for the time being - no longer have the "new" flag on them. I will hopefully be able to bring that feature back in the future, but it's pretty time consuming for me to do two images for each new mod.
Managing Curseforge and this site at the same time is quite a struggle anyhow as both required different kinds of images and while I can only upload rar files here, Curseforge does not accept rar files, only zip files. Also, it is not possible to upload more than one package file within the same zip file on Curseforge, so I have to do threads for every single mod module over there (unless it is not essential to keep the mod modular, which is rarely the case).
If you use all modules of a certain mod, it would certainly wiser to update this using this site instead of updating it at Curseforge.

Hi there,

as I finally got For Rent, today's update as well as the update from last weekend do actually deal with some of the minor issues that pack came with (unfortunatly not the major ones, as those are not fixable with simple tuning mods).

Apart from the new mods, an honorable mention goes to my traitoverhaul mod. The For Rent part of that mod deals with the issue of nosy Sims placing their binoculars almost in other Sims faces while doing the spy interactions and with Tomarang cultural trait giving their owners negative moodlets even if the do partake in cultural acitvities.

Important For Rent Update Info
I'm so sorry to inform you, folks, that I'm not gonna update my mods for the upcoming For Rent EP anytime soon. I'll do my best to at least offer some crucial updates during December, but I can't promise anything.

Reasons are:
- I'm not even gonna buy the pack next week, if at all. Doing updates for packs you don't own is a hassle and for some part even impossible.
- I'm working full-time in a judicial branch that has an insane workload in December. On top of that, I'm on on-call service during release week and have to attend a professional training the week after.
- As a mother of three (two of them also having their birthday in December), I'm not in a position to commit to modding in Chistmas month December.

I just wanted to inform you that shorterdogwalks has been removed because it has become obsolete as of now. Please delete it from your mods folder.

Also, sellgrownuppets has been removed as it seems to be broken beyond repair after the release of Horse Ranch.

As for mod updates, make sure you sort all mods by date to see which ones got an update.

There's a new update with two new mods for Growing Together.

Just a quick note: As you will now always see the latest updated mods showing up on top of the list when you click on "All Mods +", there will not be an update post for most updates.

Please delete the mod nobabyeyeglow if you have it as it has become obsolete with the newborn update.

The default sort order has been changed. From now on, the most recently updated mods are at the top of the table overview.

  • The upper categories of the mods can also be selected. Anyone who wants to see all the mods at once is now welcome to do so.
  • The search now works a little differently. The whole text (including the mod descriptions) is searched live for the search word.
  • The mod descriptions are hidden behind the mod name and can be folded out and in.
  • The table can be sorted by date, modname and category by clicking on the table header.
  • A mod can be downloaded by clicking on the download symbol in the last column of the table.
