Your Sims will no longer get pop-ups for mastery perks.
After I played with mastery perks for a while, I really don't like them at all. They are extremely cheaty, partly also extremely buggy and/or weird, often bestowed to Sims that just reached teenagerhood and the pop-ups are so frequent that I just decided to turn this feature off. You will still keep mastery perks your Sims already have earned and are still able to assign mastery perks via cheats. You will no longer earn them through gameplay though.
I'm normally not a fan of disabling features, but here we are, I just can't with these perks.
There are separate files for each mastery perk so you can disable the ones you don't like if you so choose.

Disables the pinboard notifications for unlocking new family recipes.
The mod also get's rid of the advertisement notification to create a family recipe after your Sim cooked something of good quality.
If you are like me and just don't like a cluttered pinboard, this mod is for your. Your Sims will still unlock the family recipes, you just won't get notified.

Stops the glow effect during walking after consuming wutant (the small business perk energy drink).
I really hate all those glow effects in the game with a passion, they are so horrible for taking screenshots and immerse in gameplay, imo.

Stops the text messages that tell you about other Sims' tattoos.
I personally just don't care where other Sims' tattoos are and which quality they have and I hate text spam on the pinboard.

Removes the flashing white outline around the ticket machine.

Candles made with the pottery skill will no longer spread fires.

Removes the glowing outline around the hobby meetup sign in Nordhaven.
